These racks are easy to install, look and work great, and make no wind noise if installed correctly. If you have wind noise you have one or both cross bars installed backwards. The mounting pieces are marked for right and left hand.

Dealer installed the front one reversed - howled like crazy - I flipped it around and all was good. If you look closely at the profile from the underside, you can see that they should look like little spoilers, higher at the back

Dont waste your money having the dealership put them on. The instructions say you need a T30 wrench but it is a T25. It is hard to find a small enough wrench to tighted the bars(went to the local dealership and barrowed wrench for 5 minutes, no charge). I installed mine when I was on vacation and then drove 75mph for 550 miles with a 12.5 foot kayak straped directly to the crossbars, no problem.

Delivery was very fast. Installation took less than 10 minutes. The tork driver is t15 for the 2009 Pilot not t30 as indicated. The LH and RH mark on the racks are from the rear to front perspective (driver side is LH). I saved $125 through Bernardi. When will other dealers learn?

Dealer also reversed the front cross bar on my new '09 Pilot. There is a "LH" and "RH" marking on either side of the underside of the bar near the bracket. This corresponds to the side (left or right) the crossbar should be mounted into the groove.

I bought the crossbars and had no problems with installations because the only seller who have downloadable instructions is Bernardiparts.com They will always get my business. don't believe me then go check out other places and you will see.

Quick to install. No wind noise if installed correctly (R=passenger side, L=driver side).
Instructions are a little off. It called for a T30 torx to secure the crossbars, but I used a T15. Also, the hole in the rails where the T15 screw goes was too small so I had to drill it out a little.
I wish the instructions would make it clear that the crossbars are front-to-back interchangeable (they are). I wasted a little time comparing them.

Easy install, probably took 30 minutes. The instructions were clear. I could not get the Torx screws seated all the way in the roof rails on the last step of the instructions.

Easy install (15 minutes). The only issue was the screws were too bid for the rails. Using a drill fixed that...

The installation was simple, if the installer has any mechanical aptitude what so ever. Worked great even when exceeding load capacity.

Easy installation. Took only a few minutes. The Torx screws are *T15*, not T30 per the instructions. I also recommend you use a power drill with a T15 bit and you may have to drill a slightly larger hole to tap the screws.

Awful wind noise above 40mph - not too easy to install or remove so taking them on and off is a real hassle.
